Debbie Tidy

Inducted into the

Connecticut Scholastic and Collegiate Softball Hall of Fame

February 6th, 2009

Sacred Heart University softball great Debbie Tidy was a four time All-American (1984-87) who appeared in three NCAA final fours.

Tidy would finish her career with an amazing 111-16 record, allowing just 19 runs in her entire career. Some of Debbie's school records are truly beyond belief., her career earned run average is an unbelievable (.15) . Debbie also holds school records in wins, era and strikeouts.

In 1985 Sacred Heart University did not allow a single run in conference play all year, due in part to the dominance of Tidy. Debbie tallied 12 perfect games that season and 13 no-hitters, a feat that will never likely be broken.
